The layout for the blog is depending on the theme itself. It is very user friendly where by people can easily click and see the posts. On the right-hand side, there are seven widgets which consists of Search, Blog total view, Blog archive, Follow by email, Recent posts, Recent comments and Facebook page.
For contributing nodes, Cupcakes Lover choose to use Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. All of these are there to help and act as an assistant to this blogspot. All of this tools play different roles in the blog. Facebook allows the users to update and share their favourite cupcakes. Twitter acts like a place to share words which only allows 140 characters. Users can update their tweet everytime anywhere they are. The last is Pinterest which ease the users to share photos online. Most of the users prefer Pinterest as it is easy and it act as a bookmark because of the user friendly interfaces.
Why did I choose blogger instead of other blogger space is because blogger is a free space to create and post anything you want. As said, blogspot may differ in features from wordpress but for a person who is a beginner and wanting to start a blog, blogspot have it's own advantages in this part (nagri, 2013). So, as a person who did not blog for such a long time i decided that i better start from the beginner part,
However, from the website Techman's World it is stated that blogger mostly have server attention, security, hosting and lots more of others compare to wordpress (Hazell, 2013). This is one of the reason why I choose blogger. It is easy to maintain and change or edit ur post because of its easy to go around features.
Creating the contributing nodes is to allow users from anywhere to easily communicate, share ideas, and exchange ideas. The visitors can either leave a comment or give their feedback for me to improve the post or blog better. This assignment Web Presence is there for us to learn more about the Web 2.0 and in a mean while helping us to understand more about Web 2.0 but not only completing this assignment. I had learn a lot of things that is related to the Web 2.0 through this assignment.
